Hooray!!!  I received the final mastered copy of the record yesterday, and I couldn't be happier with it.  The problem is... I want it to come out immediately.  I want to start touring this material, and getting all the old stuff under our belts again.  We've really been sort of winging (a BnL tradition) all the shows we've done so far.  No real rehearsal other than daily sound checks to date.  It's been fun, and challenging, but it's going to be so much better when we take the time to reinterpret the old, and figure out the new.  It was REALLY tough to try to decide which of the 18 tracks should go on the record.  We were aiming to get it down to 12 tracks, but couldn't settle on less than 13, so 13 is what it will be.  Lucky 13!  The other 5 may make a really cool EP... we'll figure something out, because we want them all out there.  I'm up at my cottage relaxing with 23 of my closest friends.  My wife's pals from grade school are all here for the weekend.  They're my pals too actually, a great group of people.  It's a lot of kids.  Actually, one of the new tracks just came on shuffle which sparked a lot of interest, so I'm playing the whole record for them now... yikes.  Responses so far are super positive... which they need to be if everybody wants a place to sleep tonight!!  

We're still finalizing plans for the record release.  Whatever it is isn't soon enough for me.  I'm quite anxious to get back on the road.  I haven't felt like that in a very long time.  It's a good feeling.  Until then, I'm going to enjoy the summer that has only just arrived here at the lake.
