Barenaked Ladies are in Vancouver for the 2010 games and haven't wasted any time getting into the thick of the activities. Ed was on the Today Show yesterday and helped carry the Olympic torch through Vancouver. The band has been outfitted with Kodak Zi8 HD cameras from Kodak and will be capturing the action over the next week while they're playing shows, watching the events and everything in between.

Acclaimed multi-platinum pop-rock group the BARENAKED LADIES and their label Raisin’ Records have signed an exclusive worldwide deal with EMI Music’s Label Services unit and are gearing up for the March 30th release of their 11th studio album (March 23rd in Canada), ALL IN GOOD TIME. The band and longtime producer Michael Phillip Wojewoda began recording the album last spring at Canterbury Studios and Jimmy C’s in Toronto and recently finished mixing with Bob Clearmountain (Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones, David Bowie).

I agree with Louis CK that EVERYTHING is a double-edged sword (I also agree that Deer are assholes).  That is why I must be happy that one of Canada's Female Olympic Hockey players was overheard at our recent gig saying, "That Ed Guy is really hot"...  and simply live with the fact that the sentence ended with "for an old guy".
